Bald is beautiful! (btw, he's just trying to move his face to the camera, not choke him)

One of my favorites from the "photo shoot"

Science Rules!

It took many tries, but we all finally got culture passes (4 in free) to the Arizona Science Center. We went on Monday the 29th, and we all had lots of fun!

Hunter "building a house"
Ammon having fun with cars. Is that a police car in his right hand?
I call it "The Sinker"
Kevin taking a shower
I'm either sucking my thumb, about to rub my eye or picking my nose. I love Hunter in the background with his mini-me Ammon.
Bryan trying to relax his mind more than Isaac and loosing.
This thing was fun.
Here's Bryan laughing cause it looks like Kevin's peeing.
I know, you're impressed right? She pulled herself all the way up!

Happy Independence Day!
We combined our 4th of July celebration with an early birthday party for my niece Lexi who turned 3 today, and the last day of leave for her daddy. We're counting down the days til you're home with us for good Isaac!
Hunter and Lexi's cheesy smiles!
Katie, Kevin and cousin Hannah enjoying the splash pad at Alta Dena park.
Ammon with his Auntie Jilly.
Two fatties enjoying their freedom to relax and eat!

I LOVE IT!!!

Woods Canyon Lake

As soon as school was out we packed up and headed for the campgrounds! Unfortunately it rained more than we would have liked, but nothing so bad we weren't able to enjoy the entire stay. We love to camp, and this time 2 aunts and 2 cousins joined us.
Tons of fun!

We hid our very own Geocache! Here's a clue... it's under a rock that's near a tree.

It's just so cute to see Daddy and his boy! (yes I know it's purple, free is free)
Look at those little feet!

Out for a stroll.

Later I gave Hunter turns "peddling" as he puts it.

Time for fishing!!! Kevin never tired of fishing, Katie caught her first fish, Bryan caught one that Kevin insisted we eat (it was delicious) and Hunter... well he sure had fun!

Home again, Home again...
I figure if we must now keep them strapped so securely in their seats it's a good thing they can watch a movie. No more roaming about the vehicle or sleeping on the floor like the old days, so we've gotta give them something.
Notice the wet windows, we even got some hail coming down the mountain.

Katie's Piano Recital

Katie has been taking piano lessons for over a year now, and this was her first recital. She was excited and did excellent.
She takes lessons through Hovland Conservatory. They said they will have the audio file of each child's piece on their website for our free use. Cool!

I'm so excited!!!We got there nice and early.

Being prepped to "look at her shoes" before and after she plays her piece.

Katie's awesome piano teacher, Julie Hoti (originally from Albania)

All the performers... the entire program was about 35 minutes.

Enjoying punch and cookies!
That's right, let's have all the children come in their Sunday best then serve them red punch. I had to laugh.

Katie was so excited that these special people could come.
Sis. Seago (in blue) Katie's "ward Grandma", Sis. Christiansen (in red) Katie's CTR 7 teacher & her good friend Cynthia.

You can watch Katie play her recital piece here.
Congratulations Katie! You did awesome!!!

Shoulda been a boy

I always wanted to be a boy.
As a child I wished so much I could go camping with the boys, be able to keep up with my brothers in all their games. Then when puberty came I wished it even more. It took me till adulthood before I decided to appreciate being female.
Boys just get to do all the cool stuff, so when I don't have a nursing baby Katie and I will be taking our own camping trip while the boys are off at Fathers & Sons.

Anyway here are the munchkin's loving every minute of their trip!

Here Hunter is holding the GPS while Kevin has the Geocache they found. One of our new favorite hobbies.
LOOK WHAT WE GOT!!!
Kevin a tiger, Hunter a giraffe.

Happy Half!

As of today Ammon is officially .5 years old.

Here he is ready to blow out the half candle on his half cake. Aunt Becky is holding him back.
We sang the first half of Happy Birthday to him then let him try to blow out the flame... then let all the kids help him blow it out .

Here he's enjoying the "ice cream" that held true to the day, by only setting up half way. If you want to know what ice cream maker not to buy just ask Aunt Kristi.

Yeah for little milestones!
It's nice to have a reason to make cake and ice cream.

I love digital cameras!
I know I don't take the greatest pictures in the world but I have the greatest subjects. :)

There's no reservations about getting out the camera because the cost of film and you can keep clicking away.

I'm not sure I have a favorite shot, but that's ok, I don't have to pick just one.
