Katie's Piano Recital

Katie has been taking piano lessons for over a year now, and this was her first recital. She was excited and did excellent.
She takes lessons through Hovland Conservatory. They said they will have the audio file of each child's piece on their website for our free use. Cool!

All the performers... the entire program was about 35 minutes.

That's right, let's have all the children come in their Sunday best then serve them red punch. I had to laugh.

Shoulda been a boy

I always wanted to be a boy.
As a child I wished so much I could go camping with the boys, be able to keep up with my brothers in all their games. Then when puberty came I wished it even more. It took me till adulthood before I decided to appreciate being female.
Boys just get to do all the cool stuff, so when I don't have a nursing baby Katie and I will be taking our own camping trip while the boys are off at Fathers & Sons.

Anyway here are the munchkin's loving every minute of their trip!

Here Hunter is holding the GPS while Kevin has the Geocache they found. One of our new favorite hobbies.

Happy Half!

As of today Ammon is officially .5 years old.


Here he is ready to blow out the half candle on his half cake. Aunt Becky is holding him back.
We sang the first half of Happy Birthday to him then let him try to blow out the flame... then let all the kids help him blow it out .













Here he's enjoying the "ice cream" that held true to the day, by only setting up half way. If you want to know what ice cream maker not to buy just ask Aunt Kristi.



Yeah for little milestones!
It's nice to have a reason to make cake and ice cream.

I love digital cameras!
I know I don't take the greatest pictures in the world but I have the greatest subjects. :)

There's no reservations about getting out the camera because the cost of film and you can keep clicking away.

I'm not sure I have a favorite shot, but that's ok, I don't have to pick just one.
