Our new look

This was the best 'before' shot I could find. To the left of this photo was our computer desk and above that our tv was mounted. You know a swivel mount like something you'd find in a classroom or hospital.

Anyway, Britney was kind enough to trade pianos and Kristi was so generous as to trade tv's (ours was smaller and fit in their playroom's built in entertainment center, the kids don't seem to mind and we sure enjoy the bigger screen)

Bryan, with the help of Kristi, built this entertainment center (a Bryan Hiner original), while Becky and I painted the wall (one coat primer, 3 coats Midnight Dream)

He's been adding to it whenever he finds a moment after finishing a beautiful table for his dad.

He's so resourceful, the drawers are from our little file cabinet, so next to do is reface them with white. Also the piece of baseboard that's missing.
He's already built an additional little shelf where the printer is for the printer to sit on, so the scanner will go beneath.
Maybe if things start getting too cluttered I can just have him keep adding shelves! tee-hee.

Big Accomplishments by all!!!

Big stuff going down here. Big Stuff!!!

As it states below in her journal, I pulled out Katie's tooth, like she asked. I guess she trusted me more than tying the string to the bumper and letting Daddy drive. Couldn't sell her on that idea.

Translation:
Feb 24, Wednesday
I am going to pull my tooth out. It shouldn't hurt me. We are prepared to take it out. I'm going to put on a show, and everyone is going to watch...
It didn't hurt. That/It was fun.
The End.

Also, Katie learned to ride her two wheeler! The picture is of her first time on this bike, I'll have to get video of her riding later. She is very happy and is now working on turning, so she can ride it in a smaller area like our neighbors drive (we have no sidewalks, and a dirt driveway) It's hard to learn when you have to wait for family trips to the park but she did great and Daddy got good exercise running after her.

She's memorized the 1st and 2nd Articles of Faith and working on the 3rd.

KEVIN
Having learned the 1st Article of Faith last month he was on to number two, and learned that one even faster!

Now that Daddy is free to run behind someone else, guess who's getting their extra wheels off for our next outing. He doesn't like the idea, he's usually apprehensive about new things that he thinks might hurt him. What's funny is he doesn't realize how many crazy things he does all the time that put him in danger. That reminds me, I'll have to get some video of him riding the skateboard.

HUNTER
We had really been working on the Articles for Katie and Kevin but one day in the car, Hunter just starts saying it by himself. Guess he doesn't want to be left out.

AMMON

and Ammon learned to laugh!!!

Hunter is 3!!!

Hunter Abinadi Hiner, born March 1st, 2006.

Hunter is awesome! He's so fun to have around. He loves to make you laugh.
I thought it was funny that in almost every picture he has food or is asleep, sometimes both!

The good times are still rolling and I'm so glad this monkey loving boy is a part of our family!
